Acabo de regresar de la República Centro Africana – un país que respira africanidad, en el más puro sentido de la palabra – . El viaje se adelantó a lo previsto, a pesar del accidente de equitación que sufrí hace poco más de un mes, con fractura del brazo derecho y una costlla incluidas. Por suerte me recuperé a tiempo – al menos, lo suficiente – y pude volar rumbo a Bangui hace un par de semanas. Allí, he contactado con los pigmeos Boffi y Ba´aka- principal objetivo del viaje -, y realizado un buen puñado de fotografías, que próximamente colgaré en la página (www.fotografia-etnica.com)
Por otra parte, comenzaré a trabajar de inmediato en mis más inmediatos proyectos viajeros. Sobre todo Myanmar (Birmania), que será el objetivo principal para 2011. Aunque también barajo otras opciones, como Mongolia y las islas Andaman y Nicobar (Sur de India); un descansito de Africa no me vendrá mal!
Sigo enfrascado en mi novela y voy a preparar un nuevo proyecto de exposicón. Ya te contaré.

I´ve just come back from Central African Republic – It seemed to me a sheer African country, in the purest sense of the word – Inspite the fact I broke my right arm, as well as a rib, in a horseriding accident, over a month ago, I got well – at least, well enough – just on time to not be obligued to put he trip off. Therefore, I made my way to Bangui a couple of weeks ago. Once there, I could meet up with the Boffi and Ba´aka pygmies, which was supposed to be the main reason of the trip. Y took a good bunch of shots that I will soom upload in my website “www.ethnicphotography.eu”
I will start working on next projects rightaway. The main goal for 2011 is Myanmar (Burma), but I´m entertaining some other options, such as Mongolia or Andaman and Nicobar Islands (Southern India). After travelling to African countries three times in a row, I will surely appreciate a little change.
I´m also involved in writing my first novel and I will soon begin to work on a new exhibition. I will keep you informed about it.
